Once the clan was a single geometry: apprentice, regent, council, apex. Blood bonds and ritual obedience made the Pyramid more than metaphor. Vienna's destruction shattered that certainty. What remains is not emptiness — it is contention.
Lineage still matters. Generation still weighs. But allegiance now runs through Houses as often as through the old chain of command. The warlocks did not forget hierarchy; they multiplied it.
